Upsilon Zeta Zeta was chartered on February 25, 2005 by the following sorors: Beardell Abdul-Salaam, Samantha Barrett, Stacy Brown, Denise Bruce, Gloria Evans, Antionette Gordon, Mertha Gordon, Valerie Gray-Jones, April Harris, Sonja Harris, LaTonya Hughes, Stacy Jackson, Yolanda McKinzy, Michelle Morris-Pulliman, Taneeka Murphy, Tanesha Nooner, Veronica Watson-Perkins, Stacy Powers-Mints, Glennie Whittaker, and Fakeisha Wright.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority has always been a forerunner in the community, and the members of YZZ have sought to expand on the sorority’s exemplary record as “A Community-Conscious, Action-Oriented Organization.” Over the years this chapter has been able to grow in many ways and we will always continue to do the work that is important to our community.
