How to become a member

Membership into Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is by invitation. 

Candidates for membership must have a track record of serving their community, a commitment to scholarly endeavors, demonstrate the traits of Finer Womanhood, an interest in fostering the ideal of Sisterly love and possess at least one baccalaureate degree. Eligibility for membership into Zeta is contingent upon compliance with other requirements and qualifications, as may be required the By-Laws of Upsilon Zeta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

At the present time, Upsilon Zeta Zeta Chapter sponsors an undergraduate chapter at Missouri State University. If you are a student at Missouri State interested in membership please feel free to contact us for further information on membership.

Upsilon Zeta Zeta chapter meetings are held on a monthly basis. All members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. are welcome to attend. Prior notification of attendance is preferred, and positive verification of sorority membership is required to be admitted.   • Soror relocating to Grandview, Missouri or surrounding community
  • Soror looking to change chapter membership or transfer from an undergraduate chapter

It also gives you the opportunity to serve by being a committed volunteer within your campus and local community. You also have the opportunity to be seen as a woman that makes a difference in your community.

Along with volunteering service, Zeta women gain professional development and leadership skills through being a part of different seminars, holding officer positions within a chapter, serving, and being a positive role model.

From a personal development aspect members gain living and learning experience from women with shared values and objectives. One will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of activities where one can use your unique talents and knowledge to contribute to the chapter and your community.

Last, but truly never least you gain sisterhood relationships with women of all ages. You also learn to grow in the spirit of sisterly love and friendship beyond your local experience.
